Tamanna Sultana, a graduate student, moved to UK from Bangladesh and have started her one of the first jobs in London, shares her corporate life experience with Europeans24. According to her:

 1. To acquire a desired job, you must apply for at least a month and finally you will be hired for the position you wish. There are various career opportunities available.

2. Employers are unconcerned with your educational background or university. They put greater emphasis on your skills. If they are truly pleased by your skills, they will not even ask for a diploma (albeit you must have graduated).

3. In addition to phoning you for an interview, if the employer likes you, they may call you for a trial session that lasts 3-4 hours. You get the job if you do well in the trial session!!!! There are no prejudices present.

4. There is no workplace discrimination or nepotism. Colleagues don't squabble with one another.

5. You are not permitted to use your phone or make a phone call during working hours (8hours). There will always be CCTV on top of your head, so you won't be able to go a minute without doing something or utilizing it for any personal reason since someone will be monitoring you!!!!

6. The bosses are pleasant (if you're lucky enough to acquire one). They will reward you to meals, pizza, and hot chocolates on occasion, but only if they are impressed with your work. They are, however, genuinely down to earth, and you would never guess they are millionaires based on their appearance or demeanor.

7. It doesn't matter if you're the company's CEO or the cleaning lady. You both use the same metro or bus (credit goes to the congestion fee to enter central London and the parking fee).

8. Because the business cleaner gets paid more per hour than the coperate worker, there is no way for you to dismiss them or think they are less than you.

9. People in this country dislike remaining at the same work for lengthy periods of time. The maximum period would be two years, while the least would be two to three months. They like trying new things, seeing new places, and meeting new people. That is why firms here give work contracts in order for individuals to stay longer with the company (which some people do not sign since they want to quit the job sooner after they start).

10. You get paid every month on the 27th (running month) or the 2nd (new month). There will be no delay!!!

Every month, taxes will consume 11% to 20% of your income.

12. Europeans have a weak command of the English language:(
