On Tuesday, the Japanese government has decided to release a huge amount of treated radioactive water from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean.
This decision is being a long debate between residents and fishermen of Japan and the matter was hanging for last two years. But this time Cabinet's decision is strong as it is the best option the authority have got in their hand.
It all started with 2011's Tohoku earthquake and tsunami which resulted one of the greatest nuclear disaster after the Chernobyl, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster.
The water is being stored at the accident site from 2011.
Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has stated releasing water 'more realistic ' option for them. South Korea and China is highly concerned about this matter and its possible impact in near future.
