Benjamin Netanyahu is the first sitting Israeli Prime Minister to go on trail for corruption.

The 71 year old Islaeli Prime Minister is alleged to have hundreds of thousands of dollars as luxurious gifts from billionaires and funded media for favourable news coverage.
But Netanyahu has leashed out from prosecutors calling the trail a 'witch hunt'. He says on press conference, " The improper use of predatory government, power held by prosecution. That's what doesn’t have values. That's what immoral. That's what is so anti-democratic because what they are trying to do here doesn’t exist in any democratic regime.
Netanyahu demonstrators have gathered outside of the court. One demonstrator said to Turkish TV channel TRT World, " We have been demonstrating for 4 years that there will be no prime minister in Israel who is accused of crime..
First witness was a former CEO of an Israeli news agency who made allegations of editorial interference from 2012 by his boses whom are being directed by Netanyahu family, he believes.
While the trial was being played out the Israeli President Rueven Rivlin began consultation with party's assets in his residence. This meeting will determine which candidate will be granted for forming government according to last month’s election.
But it’s a very tough task. A candidate have to have 61 seat majority to govern Benjamin Netanyahu or his primary opponent will get there. President Rueven may send amendment back to Israeli parliament to make a choice or there could be a fifth unwanted election.
In this regard, Danny Zaken, a global political correspondent says," After todays is still, the fifth election is most likely option."
